What is The Archaeology Project?

The Archaeology Project is a project I began to investigate the modern archaeology/anthropology/paleontology field through interviews with archaeologists, anthropologists, and paleontologists, focusing specifically on women, as well as some other things sprinkled in. I want to share these interviews and my discoveries on this blog, as well as share any other ventures or activities I undertake in this field. In the past few years, I’ve become very intrigued with archaeology and anthropology and hope to maybe one day pursue it as a career. I want to use this project as an opportunity to learn more about this field of science and how archaeology is being brought into the modern and digital age. I hope to share my interests and anything I learn on this blog and I hope anyone reading this enjoys it and learns something as well!

If you have any questions about my project or archaeology/anthropology/paleontology feel free to leave them in a comment and I’ll try to answer it!

This is a photo of my dad’s childhood home, The Land, from when I visited a few years ago. It’s a ranch in, as we like to say, the middle of nowhere (aka outside Winslow, Arizona, adjacent to the Navajo Reservation).
